We had a blessed weekend in Tennessee. Thank you to all who worked hard on the Crossville concert! Sunday’s God and Country concert in Murfreesboro at the Detention Center was a first for us. God opened a door to use us with the inmates. We write to tell you this for the glory of the Lord, not for our glory. It was quite humbling to be in the moment and realize God will use any wretch, that is willing, to be a light and hope for someone else. He certainly turns messes into messages and can turn any life around! Jesus loves us so much He does not want to leave us in our mess, but make us victorious! The world will not let you forget your past, but God says repentance through Jesus is forgotten! This was our message. We have several upcoming “God and Country” concerts in churches and under our tent, coming up this month and next.

Senior Bash 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM Oct 23, 2014 AUBURN — The DeKalb County Senior Bash will take place Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the National Military History Center. A High’s pork chop dinner with pie for dessert will be served. Entertainment will be provided by DeKalb High School show choir director Shelly Johnson and The Dynamix and DeKalb County native Todd Herendeen. The evening also will feature the kickoff of the DeKalb County Council on Aging’s annual United Way campaign. A special activity is planned for those who make a donation or pledge that evening. Tickets cost $6 and are available in the Heimach Center lobby. The event is sponsored by DeKalb Health.
